In Fira is located the old port of the island called Yialos. To reach this port you must go down with the cable car, or trought the huge zig-zag stair with 588 steps or even with the famous donkeys, the old transportation of the island.

FIROSTEFANI e IMEROVIGLI
Those 2 villages are located above the city of Fira; they have many hotels, villas and studios with a fantastic architecture excavated in the volcanic rock. With an incredible beauty, both cities are on the highest spot of the cliffs staging an impressive view of 300m high. In Imerovigli, lays the famous Skaros rock, location of an old Venetian castle, where you walk up trough an old and narrow path to find yourself in one of the most fantastic spots of the island.

Located on the north point of the island, presents an unique beauty, impressive houses carved on white rock, churches with blue domes, narrow roads, and with the entire main path built with marble stone. Oia keeps a beautiful dawn and a completely romantic atmosphere. Here was filmed Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Guns of Navarone. With Cycladic architecture, here you’ll find the Navy Museum, the most impressive art galleries and the Venetian castle of Goylas from where you’ll enjoy the world’s most beautiful sunset.

VLICHADA
Beach on the south part of the island with cliffs carved by the wind. Quiet and with a prehistorical athmospher, is close to the Vlichada marina where the yatches, private boats and local fishing boats are located. We highly recommend the local food in any of its taverns, enjoying fresh fish and seafood.
